Major Tech Power-X Privacy policy

"Major Tech Power-X APP" is an application provided by Major Tech (PTY) LTD (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "Major Tech"). Major Tech attaches great importance to your personal information and privacy protection. We have prepared this privacy policy to provide you with information about how we will handle your personal data when you use the Major Tech Power-X APP.

Personal information refers to all kinds of information related to identified or identifiable natural persons recorded in electronic or other ways, excluding information after anonymization. The processing of personal information includes the collection, storage, use, processing, transmission, provision, disclosure and deletion of personal information.

In order to provide you with better services, we need to collect your following information: application information (basic information of the application, application use information, account login information), network information (operator information), bound device data (location information, device name, model, version, status information, configuration parameters, historical statistics). This information can help to analyse data more accurately and provide more accurate services.

Your information contains sensitive personal information. We will upload it to our cloud server only after you explicitly agree in the application. You can uninstall the application or visit the "My" - "Settings" - "Withdraw Privacy Authorisation" interface to terminate the collection and processing of the above data or functions. Your above data will be stored on local server.

1. Category of personal information processed by us

1.1. Personal information collected and used during account registration and login

When you register and log in to the Major Tech Power-X account, please ensure that you read and agree to abide by the privacy policy of the corresponding account, so as to understand and agree to the personal information collection and use of the corresponding account. In order to display in the application, we need to collect and use your nickname.

Personal information is collected and used when you add the device to your Major Tech Power-X account.

In order to establish Bluetooth connection, manage device configuration, and count device activation, we need to collect your device identifier (including MAC address), basic information of the device, and manage your device.

1.2. Personal information collected and used in data management

In order to manage your data and display your relevant data, we need to collect your data. Data belongs to personal sensitive information. The purpose of collecting such information is to measure, record, display and count relevant data and provide you with richer services.

2. Device authority call

Storage permission: When you use the sharing or login account and other functions, you need to enable this permission to read or write application usage information, pictures, etc. If you do not need such services, you can close this permission at any time, which will not affect the use of other services.

Camera permission: When you add a device by scanning the QR code, you need to enable this permission to complete the picture shooting. If you do not need such services, you can close this permission at any time, which will not affect the use of other services.

Location permission: When adding a device, you need to enable this permission to determine your current location information. If you do not need such services, you can close this permission at any time, which will not affect the use of other services.

Phone permission: When you pair with the associated device to receive incoming call information and other functions, you need to enable this permission to obtain the phone status. If you do not agree with this permission, it may affect the normal function use. (Android users only)

Call record permission: When you use the wearable device to push missed call numbers and control the volume, you need to enable this permission to display the missed call numbers on the paired device and synchronise the call status. If you do not need such services, you can close this permission at any time, which will not affect the use of other services. (Android users only)

Address book permission: When you need to display the caller's information on the wearable device, you need to turn on this permission. If you do not need this kind of service, you can turn off this permission at any time, which will not affect the use of other services. (Android users only)

You can access the system "Settings" at any time to manage your system permissions.

3. How will we manage your data

In order to make it easier for you to access, correct and delete your personal information during the use of the "Major Tech Power-X APP" application, and at the same time ensure that you have the right to withdraw your right to use personal information, we have provided you with corresponding operation settings in the product design. You can refer to the following guidelines for operation.

3.1 Withdrawal of consent and deletion of information

The authorisation of this service can be revoked at any time. In "My Settings", you can revoke the authorisation and delete all your information, including cloud information and local information, and log out through the "Revoke Privacy Authorisation" interface. However, you need to re-authorise and re-register your account when you use it next time.

4. Storage location and duration of data we collect

Data storage location: The above information will be transmitted and saved to a local server.

We only retain your personal information for the time necessary to achieve the purpose stated in this policy, and delete or anonymise your personal information after the following retention time, unless otherwise required by laws and regulations.

Data storage period:

Personal information obtained for statistical analysis and product improvement in the user experience improvement service will be retained for one (1) year from the date of collection. (2) Log information obtained from user feedback service for analysis and positioning: the log is stored in the Major Tech Power-X server (file log server) for seven (7) days, and the data storage period other than the log is two (2) years.

For the sake of your data security, your data will be bound to your account, and your data will be encrypted and stored in the "Major Tech Power-X" cloud server. If you select "Withdraw Privacy Authorisation" in "My Settings", you can revoke the authorisation and delete the data you saved in the cloud server.

In addition, when the operation of our products or services is terminated, we will notify you in the form of push notice, announcement, etc., and delete your personal information or conduct anonymous processing within a reasonable period of time.

5. Update of privacy policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time as we add new products and applications, improve our current products and services, and as technology develops and laws are revised. You can determine the latest revision time of this privacy policy by the time marked on this policy page. Once we publish the revised privacy policy, any changes will take effect immediately.

If these changes are significant, we will send you a notice, and if applicable laws provide, we will obtain your consent. We will send a change notice through APP or publish this notice to the application of this privacy policy.
