This small and compact IR thermometer with a pistol grip offers accurate readings for body temperature from 32\u00b0C to 42.5\u00b0C, while in surface mode the temperature range is 0\u00b0C to 60\u00b0C. The operating distance range is from 1cm to 10cm, and 32 measurements can be memorized all displayed on the large backlit LCD display. The MT688 has an automatic data hold function as well as auto power off mode after several seconds that extends the battery life.
